BROKERLOOP PRIVACY POLICY FOR YOUTUBE PUBLISHING

Brokerloop´s Privacy Policy for YouTube Publishing describes how the Brokerloop application collects, uses, and shares your personal data when registering YouTube accounts in Brokerloop and when publishing content to YouTube.IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY, PLEASE DO NOT USE THE APPLICATION FOR YOUTUBE ACCOUNT REGISTERING AND PUBLISHING TO YOUTUBE.When mentioned in this document, Brokerloop means the Brokerloop Application installed and used by you.

WHAT INFORMATION DOES BROKERLOOP COLLECT ABOUT YOU?

Brokerloop application must have authentication and authorization credentials to be able to use the YouTube Data API. This API allows Brokerloop application to publish your videos to your selected channels.Google APIs use the OAuth 2.0 protocol for authentication and authorization credentials.

YouTube account registration in Brokerloop:

In order to publish a video, you first need to register your YouTube account in Brokerloop. When registering an YouTube account, Brokerloop sends its own Client ID and Client Secret tokens, previously generated for Brokerloop by Google. We then receive from YouTube the Access and Refresh tokens, specific for your account, that grants Brokerloop access to the YouTube Data API and your YouTube account. This request requires an authentication step done in a Google web page opened automatically by Brokerloop where you log in with your Google account. After logging in, you are asked whether you are willing to grant one or more permissions that Brokerloop is requesting. This process is called user consent.

If you grant at least one permission, the Google Authorization Server sends to Brokerloop an access token, a refresh token that Brokerloop can use to obtain a new access token and a list of scopes of access granted by that token.

These are the only account-specific information that Brokerloop stores in its database and can only be used by Brokerloop, as they are validated by Google/YouTube for the Brokerloop application only.

If you do not grant the permission, the server returns an error, your YouTube account is not registered in Brokerloop and no Access and Refresh tokens are received and stored.

When directly entering information to be identified during the log in with the Google account or when adding any other information once logged, you are bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, Google Privacy Policy, and API Services Terms of Service.

You may now publish your videos on YouTube directly from Brokerloop.

Publishing content to your YouTube account from Brokerloop:

In Brokerloop, the publish to YouTube Window allows for inserting the title, description and keywords as metadata for the video. In this pane, you can also choose the recording date and if it will be transcoded to other format before being uploaded.

At the Configurations Pane in the same window, you also define the privacy, made for children, embedded and license options used by YouTube.

Brokerloop then uses the insert.video YouTube Data API request to send the video and its metadata. The process is finished when we receive the video’s link at YouTube, which is stored for each uploaded video.

Brokerloop does not delete or alter content on your YouTube account. Even content published by Brokerloop.

HOW DOES BROKERLOOP USE AND PROTECT PERSONAL INFORMATION?

As stated in the aforementioned section, Brokerloop does not store any private customer data when publishing videos to YouTube channels.
